The animation I made for introduction to the animation was “I’m here “. In order to present these things better，I connected them with the sound I heard, the culture I learned and the things I saw in my hometown. I created a little person who travels through my impressions of my hometown and stops when she meets “me” because someone is here.

In the research I done in the class I choose to drew the map around my home, and also the “here” video I chose to make my journey from the place that far away from my home back to the place I stay now. The map also let us to record the voice in the environment, and I use this idea into my final video.

And I drew a traveler ， each page has a different movement, and when you turn the page, it’s like she is walking. The character can move like the motion that we do in the real world, is what I knows as animation.

My hometown is a city with trees and flowers, every season we can see different kinds of flowers by the road. Two kinds of trees are most common in cities：Ginkgo and Ficus Virens. These form my first memories of the city.

The city has both old and new buildings, the lights at night are modern lights and ancient lanterns. These two kinds of lights make up the night scene of the city，and those two kinds of lights make up the night scene of the city. Traditional culture also has a great influence on us. I was born in a year when snakes were the patron saint.  Snakes serve as protectors of those who were born that year, so snakes play an important role in my life.

My family likes Chinese traditional culture very much, and I also learned traditional painting. The Dunhuang flying apsaras are one of the painting protagonists that impressed me the most. They also played an important role in the history of Chinese painting.

 Also, I have loved keeping animals since I was a child, and now I have a kitten that has always been my own. it also can be a symbol that show I am here. There is a zoo in my city which is every child’s best memory. My deepest impression of the zoo is the birds on trees and the sounds of various birds.

Plane can take me home from anywhere, in a faraway place, taking a step in every direction is like coming back to here. All kinds of food can also bring my spirit back home from foreign countries. I also like to play games at home, some toys I see will think of my playing at home in the day

The last page’s idea is from sculpture called “Ali and Nino”. Two people face each other, meet, and then pass through each other. Just like the last page of me and the traveler I designed, finally traveler will pass through me at there and move to the future.

For the cover I made a traveler looking up to a bird which have a fantasy world on her wings .Traveler represents where I am here, and she will begins travel ,and after 12 pages travel, she finally find me at the last page . Bird is what I image to go, there are the auspicious flowers that I painted to represent the unknown world in ancient paintings.
