The out come of the collection is animation, and all of them was about my collection. All of them contains some of my memory, and also accompanied with me for a long time,

There are two human characters in the animation, one is the Chinese traditional dancer, another one is the Japanese maiko. The dancer was my favorite doll in my dolls collection, and she was designed based on a Tang dynasty princess, so I redesigned and simplify the cloth and the decoration on her body. For the maiko , she was brought by my parents from Japan, and that’s the only time that my parents didn’t took me out for a trip cause I didn’t get good grades , so that maiko doll noticed me every year— it used to be a dream for me to travel around in Japan. And finally, I took a trip as a graduate trip to Japan. And this doll made me always fight for my dream.

For the plants in the animation, that’s a symbol of the botanical garden that I loved to go when I was a child, l used to go there for spring trip and played with butterflies there. And the butterflies in the animation symbolized as the butterfly’s specimen in my home.

And for the animals moved around in the animation, the cat, dolphin and birds are all from my photos collection. And the horse used to be my toys. I use laser cutting to design them out.

And finally, it back to an egg decoration, it’s a gift from my parents, and it can contain some little decoration. In the egg there could be anything, and the only way to know the things in it is to open it, it may contain a little world in it
