In the exhibition I went to the exhibition in British museum about the Egyptian life and death . It’s an exhibition around the wall painting and home supplies from the tomb chapel of Nebamun.The paining on the wall showed the life of a rich Middle Kingdom Egyptian with his families. The artists painted Nebamun’s party and his garden, also they painted the hunter and farmer which provide products for Nebamun’s manor. And it’s also have different instruments and furnitures, even have a little model of the ancient Egyptian house .Nebamun’s wall painting was a symbol of the eighteenth dynasty’ drawing, . Cause the New Kingdom was more powerful and richer than before, it’s normal to saw the painting of daily life on the wall. And also it provided valuable information about ancient garden, the design of garden were connected to myths of the god Nun . The myth of the origin was the god Nun created the world in the water, so the pool in the center of the garden was the symbolic of the water and the god Nun. (Alison Daines,2008) Also the painting showed ancient Egyptian will kept fish and ducks in the pool , and they also kept fruit trees around the pool to decorate the garden.It’s a valuable message for historians to learn the culture and lifestyles at that time. For the hostess, they can held the party in their house with her husband and her friends, when they were enjoy the music , they always hired some dancers and musicians to exited atmosphere, also their servants will spread the food and beer to everyone. Women communicated with each other, they held solid perfumes on their head to keep a nice smell, and somtimes they change the flowers to chose a better smell of them. For host, he loved hunting outside while his brought all his family members to field. He will hold a stick to hunt the birds , and sacrifice them to gods. Also he liked to see the good harvest in his land cause there were many painting describe the herdsmen brought hundreds of ducks and cows to the temple .
